Dr. Matthew Roberts, DO

Dr. Matthew Roberts has been in practice since 1992, and on staff with Associates in Women’s Health since 1996.  He is licensed in both Tennessee and Georgia, seeing patients at both Associates in Women’s Health’s locations.  

He is originally from Murfreesboro, TN and presently resides in McDonald, TN with his wife, Wendy, and three children, Devin, Macey & Chase.

Dr. Terry L. Williams, Jr. DO

Dr. Williams joined Associates in Women’s Health in August 2016. He spent the previous 5 years in private practice in Ashe County, North Carolina.

He is originally from the East Brainerd area, and currently resides in Ringgold, GA with his wife, Jenny and 3 children, Maggie, Ty, & Molly Beth.

Mary Helen Durland

Mary Helen Durland, MSN, FNP-C

Mary Helen joined Associates in Women’s Health in August 2018. She was born and raised in Memphis, TN and worked as an RN in labor and delivery for five years in San Antonio, TX before going into private practice in Austin, TX. She had the opportunity to travel to Australia in 2018 to present research at an international conference.

Mary Helen, her husband Chris, and their daughter, Evelyn reside in Chattanooga. They enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time together as a family of three.

Tessa B. Eckhardt, MSN, FNP-C

Tessa joined Associates in Women’s Health in July 2019. Originally from Maryville, TN, Tessa moved to Chattanooga to attend University of Tennessee, Chattanooga where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse in CVICU before moving to Labor and Delivery at Parkridge East Hospital. After developing a passion for women’s health as a L&D nurse, she returned to UTC for her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration.

Tessa and her husband, Greg, reside in Chattanooga with their Golden Retriever, Sunni.

Diala Minkara, MSN, APN, CNM

Diala joined the practice in February of 2023. Diala is a dedicated Board-Certified Nurse Midwife in Tennessee and Georgia with a profound commitment to women's health. Diala has a Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University and a decade-long background as a labor and delivery nurse at Erlanger East Hospital. She has also served as an Adjunct Clinical

Nursing Instructor with Chattanooga Community College at Tennova, Cleveland.

In her role as a midwife, she prioritizes the tenets of the Midwifery Model of Care, which strongly highlights providing emotional support, education, and empowering women to actively engage in their healthcare journey.

Diala is originally from Lebanon, and she spent a part of her upbringing in Australia. She currently resides in Chattanooga, TN with her husband, Mounir and four kids, Yesmeen, Maya,Bilal, and Reema.
